My Visit to Boonville – CA Wool and Fiber Festival!

I had a fabulous day in Boonville at the CA Wool and Fiber Festival!

Lots of wonderful fiber people. (Thank you all for so graciously allowing me to take photos to share with my students!) Here are a few photos of vendors and their beautiful fibers. I’ve put their email or  links to their websites next to their photos. But … the Festival goes this whole weekend, so if you have the chance to see it in person – do! Enjoy.

My apologies upfront for the photos being fuzzy with poor lighting – I wanted to put them in regardless just to be able to enjoy the colors!

I first met Una of Wooly Walkers – Home; her booth was full of hand-felted accessories and rug hooking designs and of course I got myself a punch needle! Very exciting – now I can paint with my wool!

Here she is with her designs.

Next, I visited Patricia Lambert’s booth Colors of Nature. The Colors Of Nature – Naturally Dyed Products!

Next I visited Mary Finley and Roger Salter of the Dreamy Goat Design Studio. You can contact them at

Gorgeous Colors!

Next, I visit Crystal Dobbs’ booth Boll Weaver Yarns; here she was selling Nancy Finns’ Chasing Rainbows Yarn along with her own designs. Boll Weaver Yarns —

Lastly, I chatted with Morgaine Wilder. What a fabulous instructor. We spoke about having her visit to do a spinning wheel demo and possibly a class if folks are interested. Her company is Carolina Handspun

Carolina Homespun – Weaving, Spinning Wheels, Looms

Here are a few photos of her booth!

The first two photos are of Kathryn Alexanders Kits!

Enjoy the colors! Jessica
